Choosing a wedding photographer is also choosing someone who will be beside you for a significant part of one of the most important days of your life. I take that responsibility seriously.
My goal is to bring a calm, thoughtful presence to your day and make photography feel easy. We’ll plan beforehand so that when the wedding arrives, you can be present with the people you love while I concentrate on preserving the story.

The person behind the camera.
I’ve always believed the photographs that matter most aren’t simply the ones where everything looks perfect. They’re the ones that bring something back — a feeling, a voice, a laugh, the way someone looked at you when they thought no one was watching.
That’s what draws me to weddings.
I’m Flaviu Nasarimba, a New York City photographer with more than 15 years behind the camera. Over the years, photography has taken me through many different worlds, but weddings hold something unique: an entire story unfolding in a single day, surrounded by the people who matter most.
My approach is a balance of documentary honesty and refined artistry. I want you to enjoy your wedding, not spend it performing for my camera. I’ll step in when direction is helpful, pay attention to the details you worked so hard to create, and quietly document the moments that don’t need any direction at all.
The nervous anticipation before the ceremony. Your parents seeing you for the first time. A hand reaching for another under the table. The laughter that happens between the photographs you thought we were taking. And, of course, the beautiful portraits that deserve a place on your walls.
